نسبة كبيرة جدا من البروتينات وفيتامين ج
Amla is highly nutritious and is an important dietary source of Vitamin C, minerals and amino acids.
The edible fruit tissue contains protein concentration 3-fold and ascorbic acid concentration 160-fold compared to that of the apple.
The fruit also contains considerably higher concentration of most minerals and amino acids than apples.
Glutamic acid, proline, aspartic acid, alanine, and lysine .
:الاستخدامات:
The fruits are diuretic and laxative
treatment of jaundice and coughs
treat chronic dysentery, bilousness and other disorders.
an effective antiseptic for cleaning wounds
are used as a mouth wash and as a lotion for sore eyes.
An ointment is made from the burnt seeds, and the oil obtained is applied to cure skin infections.
Aperient, Carminative, Diuretic, Aphrodasiac, Laxative, Astringent and Refrigerant.
It is the richest known source of vitamin 'C'. It is useful in anaemia, jaundice, dyspepcia, haemorrhage disorders, diabetes, asthama and bronchitis.
It cures insomnia and is healthy for hair.
The extract of amla also has antimicrobial properties.
Amlaki is an antioxidant
Emblica officinalis is effective in the treatment of peptic ulcerand in dyspepsia
Contra-indication:
Don’t use amlaki and sour fruits at night or before sleeping as they weaken the tooth and also lead to pharyngitis
