| General method of compounding creams
Cream is an emulsion so no big difference between preparation of each of them
This method is suitable for quantities over 500 gm
a)Melt and mix all the oily ingredients together in a water bath to about 60-70 ºC, if there is thermal labile substance add it just before blending the cream, and do not heat it at all
b)Dissolve and mix the hydrophilic ingredients in the water, if there is any solid ingredient(s); make a suspension with the aqueous phase, and heat the solution or the suspension to about 60-70 &or dm;C , if there is thermal labile substance add it just before blending the cream, and do not heat it at all
c)Put the warmed aqueous phase in a bowel mixer with a single paddle, turn it on on the least speed and add the warmed oil phase gradually but steady with increasing the speed stepwise. Continue mixing until cooled consistency cream is obtained
d)You can add suitable antifoam such as disemithicone
وهناك بعض الملحوظات التي قد تكون مفيدة:
أولا عملية التقليب والخلط تكون في عجانة كهربية ويتم تثبيت قطعة واحدة فقط من البدالات لكي نضمن ان يكون التقليب في اتجاة واحد
ثانيا :عملية اضافة المادة الحافظة
المادة الحافظة غالبا تكون بكميات قليلة وقد يكون من الصعب ضبط الوزنة الخاصة بها وخاصة لو كانت كمية التركيبة صغيرة لذا فقد عملت انا المادة الحافظة كمحلول مركز كالأتي
Methyl hydroxybenzoate (methyl paraben ) 8 gm
Propyl hydroxybenzoate (propyl paraben ) 2 gm
Propolyene glycol qs to 100 ml
ويكون الاذابة بالتسخين الخفيف علي حمام مائي
وكمية 1 مللي من هذا المحلول تكفي كمادة حافظة ل 100 مللي من التركيبات عموما
وقد اسميتها
